Ideal Senior Living, the nursing home, was not so great. I’m a nurse, and I’m kind of familiar with all the nursing homes in the area, and that was supposedly one of the better ones. Even though my mother-in-law wasn’t doing well when she came back from the hospital , it was like they put her in a room and just forgot about her. I went in one day, and she was like in a fetal position covered up in bed.
We haven't been in the building only because the facility is locked down. The only thing we're able to do is phone calls. When we call them, they're very receptive to our questions. They've never given us a problem getting the phone to her when we need to speak with her because she's got dementia.
